Making Tracks with Team SOL

The SOL Devon team with be filling up their flasks, pulling on their bobble hats and lacing up their hiking boots to take part in a coastal walk challenge this October to raise valuable funds for our charity.

The challenge will include a Tarka to Tarka walk, connecting Barnstaple and Bideford along North Devon's famous Tarka Trail. This scenic path and popular cycle track was historically a key railway network. The walk will connect the two Tarka the Otter statues dedicated to Williamson's literary work and the Trail's namesake.

The second coastal walk will begin at Lynmouth's famous walker statue and take our team on a steep ascent via the renowned cliff Railway to the rugged South West Coastal path, stomping westwards into the full force of the elements towards Heddon Valley.

Both walks will cover over 25 km and test our SOL adventurers endurance in challenging but different ways.

Team SOL across Europe are also invited to walk 25 km with our team in their own towns, city or in location of their choice.

Please show your support for out dedicated and daring team as they stomp for SOL by donating via just giving. See link below!
