It's Time To Explore Beautiful Bideford.  An all new location for our most popular Summer Teachers Course.

For the very first time Mark Andrews and Fiona Mauchline will be hosting their SOL summer teacher course in our Bideford Centre. This is a unique opportunity to explore this charming little historic port town whilst taking part in SOLs most popular teachers course. “Developing Language and Developing appropriate methodologies” August 2nd-13th, 2020.

Bideford is the perfect setting to unwind and recharge after your busy teaching year. From it’s pretty tree lined quay still frequented by fishing boats to its narrow streets with quirky shops that lead to the Victorian pannier market holding artisan crafts, antiques and local produce.

This course will help you find inspiration and motivation as you discover the most breath taking places around magnificent  North Devon and its Atlantic coast.

The course focus is:  Project Based Learning, Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL), Learning Locally and Engaging Students outside the Classroom, and Critical Media Skills.

This course is the result of eight years’ experience of giving teachers responsibility themselves as part of the programme, and taking part in group work in this way and reflecting on it can have a positive impact on the way that teachers organise group work with their students in the future.
